GABRIELLE KERSON
Program Director
Gabby was working as a Nanny, Newborn Care Specialist and New Parent Educator in New York City when the pandemic hit.
She was offered the pink house as a refuge and as soon as she arrived began filling it with soft spaces, sparkles, music and children.
She had been dreaming for years about creating a playskool and community space for the families she worked with and though the geographic location is a surprise the chance to create the space of her dreams and watch it be immediately used and appreciated has been an incredible experience.

LAUREN CARTER
Lead Teacher
Lauren Carter is currently pursuing a BA in Early Childhood Education. She loves all living things, particularly children, narwhals and her dog Baloo. She is an incredibly caring individual. She excels at reading the room. She knows when to add an opinion or an activity and when to just let the kids play amongst themselves.

SAMANTHA SITRIN
Educator
Samantha and Gabrielle attended Quaker boarding school together in the 90's. Sam went on to earn a BA in Communication in NYC and became an activist in Philadelphia. In August of 2022 Sam came to visit Gabby Gardens and in October she joined our team full-time. Her ideals match our mission and her work as a mediator and advocate for adults translates easily to the skills we focus on teaching in our program.

NOVELLA (TINY) ANNABLE
Educator
Tiny is new to the field of childcare, but not to the experience of community. She grew up on Shannon Farm in Afton VA. She only recently realized her affinity for children. We're delighted to help her grow into this new part of her life.
